Los Angeles: rapper Chris Brown for orders to turn over an alleged hit-and-run case in may, but was released after 45 minutes.
24-year-old turned himself in Van Nuys, California prisons for one day before the deadline. He was booked and released on his own recognisance 45 minutes later, told TMZ online.
The singer pleaded not guilty to hit-and-run and has since avoided the two misdemeanor charges against him by the Office of the District Attorney of La, driving without a valid license and proof of insurance crimes against him were dismissed.
ReutersVisit the police station was apparently a compromise for him not being arrested at the scene of the incident.
His next court date is set for August 15 to meet sudden claims. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison.
It is a violation hearing, conditionally suspended, he was sentenced to charges for battery charging after an attack on his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 year.
