Los Angeles: actor Johnny Depp said that too many expectations have led to the failure of his latest movie the Lone Ranger.
Directed by Gore Verbinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the film's story revolves around John Reed (Armie Hammer) masked hero who goes to right wrongs and his constant Indian sidekick Tonto was played by Johnny Depp.
Johnny Depp. AP"I think the reviews were written by seven to eight months before we released the film," variety magazine quoted Depp.
"I think that the reviews were written by, when they heard Gore (Verbinski) and Jerry (Bruckheimer] and I were going to do ' The Lone Ranger '."They had expectations that it should be a blockbuster, "he said.
However, Depp has no expectations from his movies.
"I didn't have any expectations of this. I never do, "he said.
