Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced an award of Rs 10 lakh for Rani Rampal, who was voted "player of the tournament in the last Junior Hockey World Cup in Germany.

Rani Rampal (18) originally from Shahbad, near Kurukshetra and represented Indian team that won the bronze medal in the tournament.

Hooda also announced a reward of Rs 5 Lakh Baldev Singh, coach women hockey players who represented India in Haryana. 5 August Hooda announced prize money of Rs 5 Lakh six hockey players from Haryana, which represented India team for the tournament in Germany.

Five of these players come from another of Shahabad in Hissarya. They are Navjot Kaur, Manjeet, Navneet Kaur, Rani Rampal, Monica and Poonam Rani.

Spokesman said that Rani Rampal will receive a total of RS. 10 lakh, which includes previously announced Rs 5 Lakh to her and other players. The representative said that the State policy in the field of sport
The Government provides a monetary reward of Rs 3 lakh, but given the outstanding performance of the Haryana players at the international level, the State Government announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh, relaxing the policy.
